13th Floor Investments acquired Homestead Lots & Baywinds in December 2008 in distress. The asset consisted of 556 fully developed lots in Homestead, Florida. 13th Floor sold the finished lots to an active South Miami-Dade builder through staged takedowns finalized in December 2009. 13th Floor additionally acquired and resold an interest in the CDD bonds that partially funded the community.
